Curry House CoCo Ichibanya Akasaka

The best Curry from a chain you can find. Possibly the best curry anywhere. I have been to several Coco's Curry houses, in Japan, South Korea and Hawaii. So far they have all been great.

I took the level 1 spicy and it was really hot!Delicious meal!

Great Japanese Curry. I've had Coco Ichibanya in Hawaii and as good as that is, it somehow tastes better here in Japan. I've also been to other locations in Japan. They key to having multiple resturaunt locations is consistency and they have got it. As always great service and the same taste at all if the Japanese locations.

What a delicious godsend! I had heard of these places before I got to Japan. They are all over and their food is delicious (thick brown curry over rice and usually something fried like shrimp or a pork cutlet). I know this sounds silly, but it was really nice to know that wherever we were, I knew we at least had this and it would be a consistent good meal.

at first i thought it's gonna be like indian's curry that rich in spices. but i'm wrong and the curry feels light and savory in my mouth, as I used to savory Indonesian food. it's good with mozarella cheese at the curry that mixed with steam rice and i choose fried pork as the dish. the menu is also available in english, and other languages such as thai.

All Coco curry restaurant have very good curry rice dishes. Never been in a bad one. I just tried the number ten hot curry and it was great.

If you haven't cocos yet while in Japan, do yourself a favor and try it. I was never a fan of curry but cocos changed my life forever.

Enjoyed a meal with friends here. Staff were friendly and helpful. A request for additional rice was fulfilled quickly.

The 'Lightly Crisped Chicken' is a topping unavailable at all USA locations and it is worth the trip to Japan. The consistently high quality and ease of CoCo's makes it a place I go to multiple times whenever I'm in Japan.

It is a casual and economic chain but still very good for what it is.

This was my first meat in Japan, and am not dissapointed. Better than in Indonesia. The curry is very tasty!

You get some pretty good curry for the price. Not the best I've tasted, but I would come back. Decent service too!

Let's just say I wish we had this in Australia. I wasnt that hungry but my partner was and turned out they even have half sizes which was perfect!!

Vegan curry available. Better service than many other shops of same chain, still cold inside but less freezing than other shops.

Great curry with a nice taste! I had a beef curry with spice level 4. Let me just tell you now that if you are not used to spice food! Don't order above level 3!I'm fairly used to spicy food but I did actually sweat a bit from level 4!There is a English menu so don't be shy about visiting!
